Alexandra and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good,...
So yesterday was pretty hectic. I was very emotional about leaving all the people I met in El Nido, and since there was no ATM and my credit card doesn’t work anymore, getting money turned into this huge fiasco. To make matters worse I was walking back to my room and got knocked over by this huge wave and landed on some jagged rocks. Also, I am getting over a cold, so that didn’t help....
The thing about traveling is that sometimes you get into really stressful and emotional situations and it feels like the world is going to end. Well I am in one of those situations and it kind of feels like the world is going to collapse on top of me.

El Nido, Philippines
So right now I am in a town called El Nido. It is in Palawan which is the Philippine Island above Borneo. It is absolutely stunning here. I have some fantastic pictures that I will try to post later, but the electricity is only on for a couple of hours everyday.
Getting here was quite interesting to say the least. I was on one of the local buses, which is not exactly the most luxurious option,...

So I am in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines right now. It is alright, it has unfortunately been raining since I arrived, but I met this really cool Filipino guy who has just been sailing around the world and is from here, so we have been chilling and I just met his American roommate from San Francisco who is also pretty cool, and they are letting me use their internet, so that is nice of...
